Orphanage opened in Chitral town

CHITRAL: Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) president Abdul Shakoor said here that his organisation was providing the facilities, including accommodation, food, healthcare, education and sports, to 15,000 orphans in its 15 orphanages across the country.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 16th orphanage, he said that the AKFP had pioneered the field of orphan care in the country, as the orphans needed the utmost attention and care for their physical and mental nourishment and growth.

He said that there was a comprehensive system to train the orphans in such a way that they became an asset to the nation.
