Prof Mir Kalan dies of Covid-19

PESHAWAR: Prof Mir Kalan Shah passed away after battling with Covid-19 for over a month here early on Sunday. He was 67.

Prof Shah belonged to the Khot valley of Upper Chitral and was the first from Chitral to obtain a PhD degree from England.

He had retired from Peshawar University and settled in the provincial capital. His wife also died of Covid-19 about a month ago.

Dr. Mir Kalan Shah was a pervious assets of Chitral .His death has left a big space and was the first PHD scholar from the well known University of England .The left space due to his death will not be filled in decades .Almighty Allah grant him high-test place in Jannah and give the patience to the family and relative to bear the tragedy of the departed soul .Amen
