CHITRAL: The Sarhad Rural Support Program (SRSP) provided equipment worth millions of rupees for the Covid-19 isolation ward at the District Headquarters Hospital, Lower Chitral.
The equipment have started functioning at the hospital, a statement by the deputy commissioner office stated on Monday.
Financed by the government of Germany through the PATRIP Foundation, the equipment were handed over to the hospital’s medical superintendent (MS) Dr Shamim by Engineer Khadimullah, SRSP/PATRIP manager for Chitral region.
These equipment included five cardiac monitors, one ECG and one ultrasound machines, 15 oxygen cylinders, six suction machines, eight infusion pumps and 12 beds.
DC Lower Chitral Hassan Abid and doctors of the hospitals were also present on the occasion.
