CHITRAL: People at a gathering in the Town Hall stressed the need to promote national unity through education to eliminate terrorism from society for ever.
The event was organized by the district administration and Shaheed Usama Waraich Academy on the sixth anniversary of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar carnage of Dec 14, 2016.
The speakers on the occasion said the APS terror act was a big tragedy but the nation stood firm to defeat terrorism.
It was unfortunate that terror elements in the name of Islam slaughtered innocent schoolchildren and left their parents as well as the whole nation in anguish for ever.–Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
