PTI Upper Chitral welcomes newcomers
CHITRAL: Scores of families joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Upper Chitral at a function held at the residence of Shahzada Shafiqul Mulk in Baroom village of Lot Oveer.
The function was chaired by PTI district Upper Chitral president Rehmat Ghazi and attended among others by party leaders Abdul Latif, Mir Sardar Jinnah and Syed Mukhtar Shah advocate.
Those who joined thd PTI included Sultan Daud, Wasimuddin, Irfanuddin, Sher Azeem Khan, Salahuddin, Islahuddin, Abdul Jabbar, Asifuddin and Imranuddin.
The chair on the occasion welcomed the new entrants and said their area would be developed on priority basis.
The newcomers expressed their confidence in the local leadership of the party.
They however demanded that an investigation should be conducted into alleged misuse of funds in a water supply project.
They also called for construction of playgrounds for the youth and improvement in the Telenor mobile phone service.–Bashir Hussain Azad
