Injured man found lying along roadside

CHITRAL: A young man was found injured and lying unconscious along a roadside near Jughoor petrol pump early on Tuesday morning.

Rescue 1122 said someone informed the emergency service and its team arrived the spot and provided first aid to the injured and shifted him to District Headquarters Hospital.

After regaining consciousness, the injured told the rescuers that he was from Thenkshen.

The injured man identified himself as Muhammad Saqib and said he was travelling in a Datsun when he fell off from it.

But the driver of the vehicle did not bother to stop and shift him to hospital and as a result he remained on the roadside for about half an hour.
