UoC’s herbarium registered with New York institute

CHITRAL: University of Chitral (UoC)’s Department of Botany has got its herbarium registered with New York Botanical Garden, a world-renowned institution in the field of research in botany.

Now, research carried out on herbarium at the University of Chitral will be acknowledged worldwide by the research community and institutions and the findings of these research will automatically become a part of global research in the relevant field.

A press release from the university said Project Director of the university Dr Badshah Munir Bukhari lauded the efforts of the Botany Department generally and specifically the constant efforts of Hafiz Ullah, lecturer in the department.
