CHITRAL: In order to overcome shortage of doctors, three doctors have been transferred from Peshawar and Nowshera to the tehsil headquarters hospitals f Drosh and Booni.
Earlier this month, people of Drosh and Booni complained about unavailability of female doctors at the hospitals. In response, three female doctors of the District Headquarters Hospital Chitral were ordered to work at the Drosh hospital turn by turn as a stop gap arrangement.
The health department KP on Wednesday issued a notification ordering Dr Haroon Mustafa of Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar to report to the THQ hospital Booni and Dr Azmat Wali Shah of Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar and Dr Bibi Hafsa of DHO office Nowshera to report to the THQ hospital Drosh.
