AKAH installs cable car to facilitate stranded people of Golen
CHITRAL: The Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) installed a cable car to facilitate the people of Golen valley after recent flash floods cut off the area by washing away a number of bridges and damaging the road.
The area people thanked the agency for the initiative and said the cable car would lessen their hardship to a great extent.
AKAH programme manager Muhammad Karam, head of emergency management Amir Muhammad and regional programme officer Wali Muhammad said they were training the youth of Chitral in order to cope with natural emergencies and lessen its impact.
