SRSP’s education project inaugurated in Arandu union council

DRSOH: Brigade Commander Panakot Upper Dir Briagdier Abbas Haider inaugurated an education project of SRSP in Arandu union council.

The inaugural ceremony held in Damil, a village situated in Pak-Afghan border, was attended by Lt-Col Sharjeel Shah Muhammad, Manager Operation SRSP DPM-PATRIP Engr. Khadimullah, DPM-CDLD Kamal Abdul Jamil and others.

Brigadier Abbas lauded the services of SRSP and said this organization had served not only the people of Chitral rather its services are remarkable in other parts of KP as well. He said that the border union council of Arandu is remote and backward, by selecting this area for education and other developmental activities SRSP has proved itself the real benefactor of the poor people.

Brigadier Abbas said that Pak army, Chitral Scouts will extend full support to SRSP. He added that other community issues would be resolved as well.  The military commander applauded SRSP senior management and the donor organization for their interest in the development of Arandu area.

Earlier Muhammad Shah, manager operation, welcomed the guests. Engineer Khadimullah briefed about the project activities in Arandu area. He said that after an completion of the road project in the most remote area of Arandu Gol, SRSP decided to work in the education sector.

He said that under the PATRIP funding SRSP selected 13 schools of different cadres, including girls schools, to provide missing facilities. Installation of solar lighting system, construction of additional class rooms, washrooms and other infrastructure activities carried out under this project and now furniture, sports kits are also being given to the schools. He said that the project activities carried out in collaboration with the education department and with the support of Pak army and Chitral scouts.
