Will take all stakeholders on board: minority MPA

CHITRAL: After being appointed as chairman of DDAC Chitral, minority Kalash MPA chaired a meeting at DC office.

In his introductory speech, he said the KP government nominated him as its representative to head the District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) and his would try his best to work for Chitral’s development by taking all stakeholders on board.

He said the should be a monthly meeting to DDAC to highlight issues and get them resolved.
He said though former MNA Iftikharuddin had done good work on initiation of work on reconstruction of Upper Chitral, Garam Chashma and Bumburate roads, there were procedural hitches due to which the projects faced delays.

“But we took timely action and removed all the impediments to ensure the launch of work on these three vital projects without a further delay.”
He said any department facing shortage of funds should approach him do that the ministry concerned could be approached.

The MPA also said landowners had the first right of getting class IV jobs in schools followed by those deserving on different quotas.
