CHITRAL: Cheques under the chief minister’s scholarships for Kalash community programme were distributed among the students of Chitral University belonging to the Kalash community.
At the cheque distribution function, minority MPA Wazir Zada said within a short time after its establishment the university had crossed a milestone. He said all-out efforts would be made by the government to equip the new university with facilities.
University’s project director Dr Badsha Munir Bukahri said on his request the previous PTI government had started the scholarship for the Kalash community students. He expressed the hope that the the incumbent government of the party in the province would continue the process.–Bahsir Hussain Azad
