Entry of males in girls’ schools banned across KP

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed his adviser on education to ensure an exemplary educational environment in girl schools throughout the province.
There should be a complete ban on the entry of males in girls’ schools and the schools should invite female members of the assembly and role model women as chief guests to sports, annual and other functions in the schools.
He issued these directives to his adviser on education Ziaullah Bangash here today.
Mr Khan said the education department should also discourage publicity of such social and annual functions of girls schools on social media, adding girls should be given education in true spirit making them aware of the social, culture and Islamic values.
The adviser expressed his commitment to ensure strict implementation on the chief minister’s directives.
