Globetrotter from Germany reaches Chitral on his vehicle

CHITRAL: A globetrotter has reached Chitral from German on his own vehicle and said the norther areas of Pakistan are a paradise for tourists.

Mr Joseph told local media that before reaching Chitral from Gilgit-Baltistan via the Shandur Pass, he visited India and crossed the Wagah border into Pakistan.

He set off from his home country and traversed Europe by visiting Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Armenia and Iran and then entering Pakistan through Taftan.

He also said next time he would come to Chitral along with his family. Mr Joseph said he planned to visit the Kalash valleys before leaving Chitral for Swat. –Nazir Hussain Shah
