Compensation cheques distributed among flood affectees
CHITRAL: Deputy Commissioner Khurshid Alam Mehsud on Thursday distributed compensation cheques among 21 people of Osiak village in Drosh whose houses were damaged by floods recently.
Addressing the affected people, the deputy commissioner said a post-disaster coordinated effort had been made in rescue, response and relief operation in the village.
He appreciated the efforts of all line departments and the community for their efforts in rehabilitation of the damaged infrastructure.
Additional DC Chittal Minhas Uddin, Assistant Commissioner Chitral Sajid Nawaz, Additional AC Drosh Fayaz Qureshi and other were also present on the occasion.
