Commandant Chitral Scout Col Moenuddin was chief guest. A marathon race and gymnastic games were also held. The race started from Shaheed Usama Park and after passing through the bypass road ended at Chitral Scouts polo ground. Five different games were also played on the occasion. Students participated in speech competitions, stage shows on the occasion. A paragliding show was also held. District sports officer Abdul Rahmat said it was for the first time that players of gymnastics were invited to the event and a marathon race competition was held. The chief guest awarded Rs5000 to the first position holder in marathon race, Rs3000 to the second position holder and Rs2,000 to the third position holder while 10 medals were also presented to other players and students.
