Aga Khan due in Pakistan on Dec 7th

ISLAMABAD: Prince Karim Aga Khan, the spiritual leader and 49th Imam of Ismailis, is arriving in Pakistan on a two-week visit.

The Aga Khan is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of the government in connection with his Imamat’s diamond jubilee celebrations. He will remain in Pakistan till Dec 19, sources in the Ismaili community confirmed to ChitralToday on Thursday.

The Aga Khan will meet top government functionaries in Islamabad on Dec 8 after which he will visit Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. He will also meet his followers in Islamabad and Karachi.

Preparations by the Ismaili community in the northern areas for the Didar of their Imam have entered final stages.
