PPP upper Chitral elects its own office bearers

BOONI: After selection of office-bearers by PPP Lower Chitral, the party in Upper Chitral has also named its office-bearers.

It may be noted that the workers of the PPP opposed the election of office-bearers for the district chapter and approached the party high command to allow them to elect office bearers for upper Chitral separately.

After the consent was given by the party leadership, an election was held in Booni on Saturday in which the PPP workers elected the following office bearers. Amirullah, president; Hamid Jalal, general secretary, and Muhammad Parveez Lal, information secretary.
