Super utility store opened in town
Speaking on the occasion, the MNA thanked the federal government and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for taking keen interest in the development of Chitral. He said opening of the super market utility store would facilitate the residents in getting quality essential commodities on subsidized rates. He said the federal government had launched a network of development plans like construction of Torkhow road, Shandur road, Garam Chashma road, Kalash road, Chakdara-Chitral highway while Lowari tunnel would be completed in the near future. He expressed his concern over provincial government’s negative behavior which he said was creating hurdles and problems in the way of development of Chitral. He said the federal government released millions of rupees for the Torkhow road but the KP government was reluctant to issue the no objection certificate to start the work. Retired Wing Commander and senior leader of the PTI Fardad Ali Shah thanked the federal government for approving the utility store and termed it more beneficial step for poor people. He also thanked Imran Khan for bringing changes in the system. Regional Manager Utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan, Chitral, Shafiq Ali Khan said there are 49 utility stores and three franchises in Chitral where people can get quality goods on subsidized rates.]]>
