ISLAMABAD: Veteran businessman and philanthropist Sadruddin Hashwani said he was pleased to serving people of Chitral in education, health and other sectors.
He said he would continue working for Chitral, especially in the field of education.
He stated this after inaugurating a website of the Chitral Heritage and Environment Protection Society (CHEPS) at his residence here.
CHEPS Chairman Rehma Ali Jaffar Dost and Head of Communication Sabrina Karam earlier requested Mr Hashwani to inaugurate the website, which he happily accepted. The meeting was arranged as a part of interviews where prominent personalities of Pakistan are recorded to be a part of CHEPS archive for heritage protection.
An alpine sapling was presented to Mr. Hashwani as a symbol of greenery that Hashoo Foundation spreads in people’s lives and as a sign of friendship between CHEPS and the foundation.
The chairman CHEPS requested Mr Hashwani to work more on business development in Chitral as well which he welcomed.
