Sub-engineers warn of pen-down strike from 16th

Talking to local reporters, a group of sub-engineers led by Ziaur Rehman Toru said that the KP government had been trying to ensure more and more facilities to government employees but the sub-engineers were such a neglected lot that they never got any relief. They said that for long the sub-engineers had been asking for a proper service structure and upgradation of scales but their the two genuine demands were not being met by the authorities concerned. They said that a meeting was held in Chitral on the directions of the provincial head of the sub-engineers’ association to put forth the demands for the government. They said the sub-engineers would continue their protest and if by May 16 their demands were not met they would launch the pen-down strike across the province.]]>
