Falling rocks destroy orchards, irrigation channels in Bang

Otherwise more than 30 poor farmers’ cultivated land and gardens cannot be saved from further destruction due to the unavailability of irrigation water. The affected villagers of Aliabad, Maulaabad and Laghalabad, Bang Bala, have appealed to the district and subdivisional administrations, the district council, tehsil council Mastuj and the regional programme manager (RPM) of the AKRSP to take an early step to estimate the loss and provide compensation/financial assistance to the residents for the restoration of the damaged orchards and water channels.]]>
