Most of the 10 people airlifted today needed emergency treatment in major hospitals and had been brought to the Chitral town from different parts of the valley that are still not accessible by road. As the Lowri pass road remains blocked, the under-construction tunnel opens twice a week – on every Tuesday and Friday.
