Man airlifted from Peshawar to attend funeral of three family members

CHITRAL: Army helicopters airlifted people stranded in different areas who needed urgent arrival in their homes.

The body of Chitral Scouts sepoy Irshadul Haq was taken to his native village of Shagram and buried with full military honour. He died after a Chitral Scouts post was hit by an avalanche in Damel on Sunday.

The body of a woman which was lying at the DHQ hospital for many days was taken to her native village of Yarkhun Lasht in an army helicopters on Monday. Besides, Hussain Khan of Shershal village who was in Peshawar along with his son was airlifted in a helicopter so that he could attend the funeral of his wife and two children who died in the avalanche. Similarly, a 14 year old girl from Garam Chashma was airlifted to Peshawar as she needed urgent treatment for a kidney disease.
