CM cancels transfers of teachers

PESHAWAR, March 16: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has ordered the immediate cancellation of all the transfers of teachers in the education department made during the last three months. He said his government had stopped all kinds of political interferences, especially in the education, police and health departments, adding the new merit-based system set up by the PTI-led government was being implemented for an effective service delivery. He also ordered an inquiry into expenditure of 1350 million rupees disbursed for 5,242 mosques and seminaries and directed the anti-corruption department to immediately arrest the contractors and responsible government officials who were allegedly involved in misappropriation of an amount of 15.3 million rupees which was released for leveling the land of Mega Park in Mardan.]]>
