CHITRAL, Jan 14: An Alto car was found gutted at Shahmiran Deh locality of Singor early Wednesday.
According to the Chitral police, Rafiullah, son of Hameedullah, was using the car as a taxi to earn livelihood. He told the police that the car was burnt down by some unknown people when he woke up on Wednesday morning. The police have lodged a case and are investigating the matter.
Hameedullah said he had no enmity with anyone. He said it seemed someone sprinkled petrol on the vehicle and set it on fire. People of the village said that they parked their vehicles on the roadside and never anyone damaged them. They said that this was trhe first such case in the village.—GH Fraooqui]]>
