KP govt's nod awaited for Rescue 1122 in Chitral

PESHAWAR, Sept 24: In order to get approval for the ooening of a Rescue 1122 service in Chitral, a delegation of National Youth Assembly members from Chitral met the Director General Rescue 1122 KP in Peshawar. The DG told the delegation that he was very sincere with the Chitrali people and was trying to open the emergency service in the valley. “But Chitrali people are very unlucky because I was personally interested in the reconstruction of the Airport road and Singoor road but they could not be completed due to corruption by some people.” He said the establishment of Rescue 1122 was the right of the people of Chitral but he was waiting a positive response and interest from the provincial government of KP. “Insha Allah, soon the Rescue 1122 will be established in Chitral. During the ANP government development of Mardan and Chitral was the priority but projects in Chitral failed due to insufficient amount of fund.  In Gilgit, Rescue 1122 has been established. It may be noted that due to the absence of the Rescue 1122 in Chitral patients in all the villages are facing severe problems and most of those needed emergency treatment cannot be taken to medical centres on time.]]>
