Computer lab opened at girls degree college
CHITRAL, June 16: A computer laboratory was inaugurated at the Government Girls Degree College Chitral on Monday. The computer lab has been established with the financial support of an NGO. Deputy Commissioner Chitral Ameenul Haq, who was the chief guest, said educational institutions and government organizations should be supported to enable them to face challenges of modern era. College principal Gul Hameera thanked the Norwegian-funded NGO for solving their long awaited problem and providing them the latest computer lab. She said the NGO played a vital role in promoting education and providing facilities to educational institutions. She said that some 1,300 girl students were studying in the college. Assistant Principal Mussarat Bibi and In-charge IT Section Ms Alweena also spoke on the occasion.
