ASWJ Chitral chief resigns

DROSH, May 7: The district chief (amir) of the outlawed Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat Qari Nizamuddin Siddiqui has resigned from the basic membership of the party. In a statement, he said that in Chitral some people instead of promoting the party worked for their own vested interest damaging the very cause of the party. He said that during various gathering, not-so-popular persons were given undue chance to deliver speeches while seasoned religious leaders and scholars were ignored.    ]]>
