CM approves legal proceedings against C&W Chitral officials

DROSH, May 7: The KP chief minister Pervez Khattak has approved legal proceedings against five officials of the communication and works department of Chitral on the charges of corruption. The report was prepared by the provincial inspection team on the direction of the chief minister about embezzlement of funds and use of substandard materials in different road projects in Chitral. The report found five officials of the C&W department guilty of misappropriating funds and recommended that legal action should be taken against the officials.
