10 qualify for medical college admissions from Chitral
CHITRAL, Aug 29: The medical entrance test for MBBS of KhyberPahtunkhwa was held in Peshawar for different medical colleges on August 25. Siddiq Akbar from Chitral by obtaining 557 is on the top of the list, Saifur-Rehman (AKHSS) of Booni at second with 448, Zahur Singoor 526 third , Naima Ayaz 512 (AKHSS ) from Kosht fourth , Mirza Alam 510 fifth, Syeda Ruhi Saleh (AKHSS) from Mastuj 509 sixth, Shafiq Lot Ovir 512 on seventh, Zaheer from Garum Chashma with 499 marks on eighth, Haikel of Morder with 465 marks on ninth and Sajida Raza (AKHSS) and a resident of Dewangol in the Yarkhun valley with 454 marks is on tenth position. There are five seats of MBBS and two of BDS reserved for Chitral in Khyber Medical College University Peshawar and Ayub Medical College Abbotabad. When more students do qualify for open merit seats from Chitral will give greater opportunity for other qualified students to get reserved seats of Chitral. It is also significant that Shahzeba Jahan a student of AKHSS Kuragh; belongs to Lotkhow vale too qualified Aga Khan University entry test of MBBS this year a couple of years later from Chitral.]]>
