30 more relief goods trucks to arrive soon, says PML-N leader

CHITRAL, Aug 22: Senior vice-president of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, Malik Aurangzeb Khan has said the leadership of the party was fully awakened to the suffering of the flood-affected people of Chitral and efforts were being made to mitigate them. reliefHe was speaking at a press conference here on Thursday. Malik Aurangzeb said that the relief goods donated by the Punjab government had reached Chitral in 20 trucks. He said the relief goods consisted of tents, beddings, kitchenware, medicines and edibles which will be distributed among the affected persons in the affected villages of Orghoch, Reshun, Garam Chashma and Rumbur. The PML-N leader said 30 more trucks carrying relief goods were being dispatched to Chitral from Lahore raising the number to 50. He said that the goods will be distributed in transparent manner and each and every person will be provided relief as per his losses. He said that on the directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab government will also lend help in the reconstruction phase as well. Later, he inaugurated the distribution of relief goods among the affected of Orghoch village.—Zahiruddin  ]]>
