Paraglider injured in Chitral
CHITRAL, April 28: A local paraglider sustained injuries after falling down at Beermogh Lasht on Sunday. Ghulam Sarwar, a member of Hindukush Paragliding Association, along with others was flying at Beermogh Lasht mountain when he was caught in strong winds and carried away towards Chitral Gol nullah (stream). His parachute also closed during flying. As a result, he diverted his paraglide toward the plan area of Beermogh Lasht and collapsed from 500 feet height on the ground. Reports said he received injury to his back and was immediately shifted to District Headquarters hospital Chitral where his condition was out of danger. Doctors at the hospital said the paraglider was being treated at the emergency department.]]>
