Naat competition held

CHITRAL, Nov 24: A Naat competition was held at the Government Higher Secondary School Drosh under the auspices of Preservation of Indigenous Culture and Language (PICL) in collaboration with the Cooperative Approach for Development (CAD). Regional Programme Manager of Hasho Foundation Sultan Mahmood was chief guest while the ceremony was presided over by prominent scholar and educationist Principal (retired) Ameenur Rehman Chughti.  Some 14 Naat khwan participated in the competition. Imranul Haq of Drosh Public School stood first, Ajmaluddin of Hira Model School second, Mohammad Ayaz of Hira Model School and College and Azizullah of Govt. Middle School Kalkatak secured the third position. The chief guest distributed prizes and awards among the students.
