Arandu: man injured in firing

CHITRAL, Nov 2:  One person was injured in a firing in Arandu, police said on Friday. According to the Arandu police, Saiful Malook and Mafad Khan,  proclaimed offenders, had an enmity with Ghousur Rehman and Haista Rehman of Dameel area over some forest. Ghousur Rehman and Haista were coming in a vehicle when Saiful Malook and Mafad Khan opened fire at them near Jastan Gol. As a result, Haista Rehman received bullet injuries to his legs. Their vehicle was partially damaged. The police lodged an FIR against the two men on the complaint of Haista Rehman. The injured was taken to THQ Hospital Drosh where he was discharged after first aid. The area is known for such types of incidents.—GH Farooqui]]>
