Women's participation in elections highlighted
DROSH (CHITRAL), Aug 26: A welfare organization, Literacy Promotion and Social Rehabilitation Organization, held a seminar on “Importance of CNIC and women participation in the electoral process” at the C&W rest house in Drosh, saya press release issued by Muhammad Jawad, the manager of LPSRO.

Famous religious scholar Naqeebullah Razi served as a resource person at the event, briefing the audience about the importance of CNIC, and explaining why is it important for women to participate in the electoral process of a country. Mr. Naqeebullah Razi convinced the audience about the religious legitimacy of participation in the electoral process while calling this act as the foremost responsibility towards the state. The same event was attended by the ex. Tehsil Nazim Mr. Sartaj Ahmed who also aprised the audience of the importance of CNIC and advantages of participation in the electoral process while sharing his experiences. Mr. Sartaj Ahmed also assured the audience as well as the LPSRO staff to provide the required assistance which could maximize the number of voters at Tehsil level. Mr. Hyder Abbas, the ex. Nazim of UC Drosh-2 also shared his views and experiences in order to help the participants maximize the number of voters while focusing especially on the women audiences at this seminar. The last session of this seminar was taken by the Manager LPSRO, Mr. Muhammad Javad who gave a slight touch to the historical background of politics in Pakistan while condemning the so-called democracy which has always been entertained by the land lords and industrialists of this country.
