Call to nulify illegal appointments

GAHKUCH, July 22: The Ghizer Graduate Association here said corruption has crossed all limits in the education department of the area and appointments through the backdoor in complete disregard to merit have made the deserving youth psychological patients. A spokesman for the association, Tanvir Hussain said the recently a retired army personnel was appointed in the department as a naib qasid and later he was promoted to the pots of a teacher after he paid bribe to the authorities concerned. Similarly, appointments have been made on the posts of UDC, LDC and accountant without following the set criteria. He said these open violations of rules were tantamount to the economic murder of the deserving youths who were running from pillar to post in search of employments after completing their education. He said the association condemned the acts and planned to launch a fully-fledged movement against the injustices. He also urged all civil society organizations to help the association in exposing the corruption and eliminate the scourge. He said the government should declare the appointments null and void and fill all the posts on merit.]]>
