Two students killed by landslide

BOONI: Two students lost their lives when a landslide buried them here today.

Two students killed. According to the Booni police, the students were playing cricket near a nulla when the landslide fell upon them. Those who lost their lives in the incident were identified as Sadam Hussain, son of Kiramat, a student of 8th class, and Aftab Ahmad, son of Noor Mohammad, of 9th class.

Their bodies were recovered from the debris and handed over to their relatives for burial. Another student was said to be injured. Later, the students were buried in the local graveyard during which a large number of people from all walks of life were present.—GFH Farooqui & Waqar Ahmad
