Football tournament concludes

CHITRAL, April 15: The Malak Saad Memorial District Football Tournament concluded here on Sunday. Malad Saad was the capital city police officer (CCPO) of Peshawar who embraced martyrdom a few years back. A large number of people from different parts of the valley witnessed the final played between Lucky Stars and Mughulan Deh Eleven. During the stipulated time, the two teams played exceptionally well and scored one gaol each. Later, during the penalty stokes, Luck Stars defeated its rival by one goal. District Coordination Officer (DCO) Rehmatullah Wazir, who was the chief guest on the occasion, handed over the trophy to the captain of the winning team and also distributed prizes among the players.—Waqar Ahmad]]>
