Inqilabi elected district bar president again

CHITRAL, April 14: The District Bar Association held its annual election to elect various office-bearers for next year. Hundreds of lawyers belonging to Booni, Drosh and Chitral town took part in the election. According to the details emanating from the district bar office, Advocate Ghulam Hazrat Inqilabi was elected as president of the district bar association. Out of the total 117  membership of the association, 72 cast their votes and Ghulam Hazrat Inqilabi bagged 43 votes. He won the race for the second consecutive year, while his opponent Khursheed Hussain Mughul secured 29 votes. Likewise, prominent lawyer and incumbent chairman of the District Zakat Committee M. I. Khan Sarhadi and Alamzeb Advocate were elected unopposed as vice-president and liberarian, respectively.
