TIMERGARA: The Khall police on Saturday foiled a bid to kidnap a Chitrali woman passenger and arrested a fake police official.
A police official told reporters that a man identified as Nadeem, a resident of Sra Dherai Rustam, disguised as a policeman, attempted to kidnap a woman from Chitral.
The official said the accused stopped the van at the Shamardin Khall checkpost and tried to take away the woman, but she started screaming. The Khall police foiled the bid and arrested the accused.–Dawn
