Chitral, March 25, 2026: The ongoing tree plantation campaign under the “Ehsaas Shajar Kari” initiative continues across Lower Chitral in line with the directives of the provincial government.
As part of the drive, a plantation activity was carried out in Madaklasht, where a variety of saplings were planted to promote environmental sustainability and increase green cover in the region.
Local officials, community members, and volunteers actively participated in the campaign, reaffirming their commitment to a cleaner and greener Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The initiative is part of the broader “Clean and Green KP” vision aimed at combating climate change and preserving natural resources.
Officials on the occasion stressed the importance of public involvement in such campaigns and urged citizens to take ownership of the planted saplings to ensure their proper growth and survival.
