DC Reviews Arrangements at Didargah for Aga Khan’s Expected Visit

Booni, March 16, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Upper Chitral Muhammad Imran Khan visited Parwak Lasht to review preparations at the Didargah ahead of the expected visit of Prince Rahim al-Hussaini Aga Khan.
The deputy commissioner was accompanied by officials of the district administration and representatives of the Ismaili Council, including Regional President Imtiaz Ahmed, Honorary Secretary Muslima Bibi, and a number of volunteers.
During the visit, the DC inspected the ongoing arrangements at the Didargah and issued instructions to further improve the facilities and organizational setup for the anticipated Deedar. Officials informed him that preparations were progressing with great enthusiasm and dedication.
On the occasion, it was emphasized that all relevant teams of the district administration, particularly TMA Mastuj, the focal person from the DC office, and the district finance officer, should maintain close coordination to ensure timely completion of all arrangements. These include the identification of a suitable site for the Nazarana Garden as part of a proposed mega plantation drive.

The deputy commissioner appreciated the commitment and hard work of the volunteers serving at the Didargah and described their efforts as commendable. He later also arranged an Iftar dinner for them.
