Chitral, March 15, 2026: Pakistan Army has carried out a successful operation against militants along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border in Arandu, Chitral, according to security sources.
The sources said the military targeted and destroyed the Badani post, used by Afghan Taliban elements, located across the border adjacent to Chitral. The post was reportedly struck using a combination of small and heavy weapons.
Security officials stated that the position was completely destroyed through coordinated use of ground-based weapons and quadcopter drones.
According to the sources, the action came in response to unprovoked aggression by Afghan Taliban and militants linked with “Fitna al-Khawarij.”
Officials said that militants are facing strong resistance on multiple fronts and that Operation “Ghazab-ul-Haq” will continue until its objectives are achieved.
