Booni, Feb 9, 2026: Upper Chitral Police have intensified operations against criminal elements allegedly involved in theft cases.
SDPO Torkhow/Mulkhow, Molai Shah, along with his team, apprehended several suspects involved in multiple theft incidents.
The arrests were made in the areas of Lon, Gohkir and Reshun. The suspects, Buzurg, son of Sardar; Saifullah, son of Gul Naib, resident of Shogram; and Ali Yar, son of Zhano Yar, resident of Rishan, were taken into custody by SHO Owir. Partial stolen property was also recovered during the operation.
Police investigations are ongoing to recover additional stolen items and to apprehend any accomplices involved in these thefts.
