Appeal Hearing of PTI’s Former MNA in May 9 Case Scheduled
Islamabad, Jan 12, 2026: The Islamabad High Court will hear an appeal of former PTI MNA Abdul Latif against his sentencing in the May 9 case on Tuesday, Jan 13th, 2026.
A division bench, headed by Justice Khadim Hussain Somroo, will hear the appeal. The Islamabad High Court has issued notices to the parties involved and sought their responses.
Abdul Latif was sentenced by an Anti-Terrorism Court in connection with the May 9 events. He had surrendered to the authorities and filed an appeal against his conviction in the court.
Meanwhile, on Jan 13, 2026, the hearing of the appeal was postponed without any proceedings.
