A tragic and gruesome incident occurred on the outskirts of Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakthunkhwa, where a man and woman, allegedly involved in adultery were brutally killed by a mob.
According to eyewitnesses, the couple was inside a parked Alto in an open space when local residents, after receiving information about them being involved in alleged adultery, surrounded the vehicle. The enraged crowd pelted stones at the car, pushed it upside down before setting it on fire. Both individuals trapped inside were burnt alive and died on the spot.
Police reached the scene after the incident, recovered the charred bodies, and initiated legal proceedings. Authorities confirmed that an investigation is underway and vowed strict action against those responsible.
