Police recover lost passport of foreign tourist

CHITRAL: Lower Chitral police recovered and returned the missing passport and visa of a tourist from New Zealand.

The tourist\’s passport and visa had been lost during travel within the jurisdiction of the Ayun Police Station. Upon receiving the information, the police and the tourism department initiated a search and eventually found the items, handing them over to the SHO of Ayun Police Station.

SHO Ayun Sub-Inspector Atta-ur-Rehman called the foreign guest to his office and returned the passport and visa to him.

On this occasion, the tourist expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the Chitral police and the tourism department, praising their services.

This action not only demonstrates the professionalism of the Chitral Police but also highlights the positive image of Pakistan, said a statement issued by the Lower Chitral police.
