PESHAWAR: The murder mystery of a young man in Hayatabad Peshawar has come to a dramatic end — the killer turned out to be the boy’s fiancée.
According to the police, the dead body of Abrar Ullah was recovered in Hayatabad on March 27. This was a blind murder case, but the police registered an FIR after which an investigation was launched.
Using call data record and human intelligence, the police detained the deceased\’s fiancée and then another young man. During the investigation, the two suspects confessed to murdering Abrar.
According to the police, Abrar\’s wedding was scheduled for April 6, but the girl did not want to marry him, so she conspired with her friend to have Abrar killed.
Police produced the two arrested suspects in a court which sent them on judicial remand.
Meanwhile, a woman who had married a man on her own will was shot dead along with her 16-month-old daughter in Mansehra.
Police stated that the woman had a love marriage three years ago, and her husband was currently in Saudi Arabia.
The woman was killed by her family members, and police have registered a case against four suspects.
