BOONI: The pedestrian bridge between Meragram No 1 and Parwak villages in Upper Chitral is in a dangerous condition.
The bridge was constructed a few months ago but during the heavy snowfall, some of its cables could not withstand the heavy snow and broke.
As a result, the bridge us in a dangerous condition. This bridge is used by the residents, mostly schoolchildren, of the two villages located on either side of river Yarkhun.
The locals have called upon the district administration and other authorities to repair the bridge to avoid any untoward incident.
